Hi, I’m Jackie Blümler.

I make jewellery from upcycled buttons and beads, paying homage to the women who  for generations used their resourcefulness and creativity to make do and mend.
I am an adoptive parent who for many years worked with children and young people. I grew up in Leeds but South London is now my home. I write poetry, some children’s fiction and short stories. I hope that my work with its themes of family, social justice, friendship and love will strike some universal chords.
